This years team could possibly be the most talented cross country squad that Moore High has put together in over 25 years.  With a solid core of distance runners returning from last spring's track team, the Moore High runners will build upon the success of last year.  Two years ago the average boys individual time at the Regional Cross Country Championships (3.1 miles) was 22:05, Last year the average boys individual time at the Regional Championships was 21:05, and this year I believe that the average boys individual time for Moore at this years Regional Championships could be as low as 20:00.  Since the AA Region 3 Region is the most competitive in AA (with 17 teams represented this year) there is a good possibility that the top six teams could automatically qualify for the State Championships in Lexington.  This years squad has a great chance to be in the top five in our Region and be the first team to qualify for State from Moore Traditional in over 25 years.
